Malegra is a medication used to treat erectile dysfunction, containing Sildenafil, the same active ingredient in Viagra. While there are no specific food interactions with Malegra, certain foods can impact its effectiveness.

Fatty meals, particularly those high in oils and butter, can slow down the absorption of the drug, potentially delaying its effects. Alcohol can also interfere with the effectiveness of Malegra, as it can cause dizziness, headaches, and lower blood pressure. Grapefruit and grapefruit juice are known to interfere with many medications, including Sildenafil, by inhibiting the enzymes that metabolize the drug, leading to increased drug levels in the bloodstream. It’s advisable to avoid grapefruit and excessive alcohol while taking Malegra.
