Apple does not immediately delete inactive Apple ID accounts, but they may disable or remove them after prolonged inactivity. If an apple id remains unused for years, Apple may deactivate it for security reasons. Users who forget their login credentials can attempt to recover their accounts through Apple’s support. Additionally, if an Apple ID is associated with unpaid subscriptions or purchases, Apple may keep it active. However, users can request permanent deletion of their Apple ID through Apple’s Data and Privacy portal. To avoid losing access, it’s recommended to sign in periodically and keep account details updated.
