Kamagra, containing the active ingredient sildenafil citrate, works by inhibiting the enzyme phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) in the body. This inhibition increases levels of cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP), which helps relax the smooth muscles in the walls of blood vessels, particularly in the penile region. As a result, it enhances blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation, enabling a firm and sustained erection. Kamagra is used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) but requires sexual arousal to be effective. It is not an aphrodisiac and has no effect without sexual stimulation.
