The basic controls for playing Pac-Man involve navigating the maze to eat all the dots while avoiding ghosts. Players use the arrow keys on a keyboard or a joystick to move Pac-Man up, down, left, or right. Eating large flashing dots, known as Power Pellets, temporarily turns the ghosts blue, allowing Pac-Man to eat them for extra points.
