Vilitra 20mg is a medication primarily used in the treatment of erectile dysfunction (ED) in men. This enzyme increases levels of a chemical called cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP), which relaxes the smooth muscles in the blood vessels of the penis, allowing for increased blood flow and resulting in an erection. Vardenafil, the active ingredient in Vilitra 20mg, helps to sustain higher levels of cGMP by inhibiting the action of PDE5, which normally breaks down cGMP. By blocking PDE5, vardenafil helps maintain the erection by allowing cGMP to remain active for longer periods.
