Donovan Lamb is a character from the Netflix series Inventing Anna, based on the real-life story of Mohammed Islam, a high school student who lied about making millions from stock trading. He was interviewed by Vivian Kent, a journalist who wrote an article about him for New York Magazine. However, he later confessed that he made up the whole story and exposed Vivian’s role in embellishing it. This caused a huge scandal and damaged Vivian’s reputation and career.
