Vaishno Devi, located in the picturesque hills of Katra, Jammu, is one of the most revered pilgrimage destinations in India. Situated at an altitude of approximately 5,200 feet (1,585 meters) above sea level, vaishno devi temperature can vary throughout the year, offering a delightful experience to its visitors.
During the summer months, which extend from April to June, Vaishno Devi experiences a pleasant climate with temperatures ranging from 15°C to 30°C (59°F to 86°F). This time of the year is considered ideal for trekking to the shrine, as the weather is relatively mild and comfortable.
The monsoon season, which lasts from July to September, brings moderate to heavy rainfall to the region. The temperature during this time ranges from 12°C to 25°C (54°F to 77°F). It is advisable to carry rain gear and be cautious while trekking, as the trails can become slippery due to the rain.
