The Class was written by Helen Schucman and Bill Thetford, two very experienced and effective Professors of Psychology at Columbia University's University of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City. Helen was the scribe for the Program, writing down in shorthand the interior messages she received. Statement searched what Helen wrote. It needed a complete of seven years to complete A Program in Wonders, which was published in 1976 in the United States. Helen wrote extra pamphlets. Her Song of Prayer was published in 1977 and The Surprise of Lord in 1978 acim audio.
Over the past 34 years, the acceptance of A Program in Wonders has grown and spread worldwide. It's been translated in to 18 different languages and more translations come in the works. Around the world, persons get with different like-minded students to read the Program together to be able to better realize the Course's message. Don't fear the fanatical defenders of exclusionist dogma - these bad persons think themselves to be the only carriers of Jesus' meaning, and the sole types worthy of his delights, while all other will go to hell. A Program in Wonders shows Jesus' correct meaning: unconditional passion for *all people*. While he was on earth, Jesus believed to decide a pine by their fruit. Therefore give it a decide to try and see how the fruits that ripen in your life taste. If they style bad, you are able to reject A Class in Miracles. But if they style as special as mine do, and the countless different true seekers who are finding A Program in Wonders to be nothing less than a heavenly prize, then congratulations - and might your center continually be abundantly filled with peaceful, caring joy.
