A Bathing Ape, a Japanese apparel brand, opened its first store in 1993. Planet of the Apes was the inspiration for the label’s name. The Bape Pink Hoodie, a combination of style and strange gimmicks, is one of the most popular pieces the brand has produced thus far. Surprisingly, the design was influenced by military symbols found on fighter jets’ noses and even battleship bodies.
