It is believed that it is worth more over $100 billion, which is more than 100 times the amount that Facebook initially paid for the site. Again, where do you look in a situation where there is a big duopoly, particularly when both choices are actually owned by the same company?
Is Facebook becoming less well-known over time?
A survey conducted by the Pew Research Center among American teenagers between the ages of 13 and 17 found that Facebook usage is on the decline as these young people migrate toward social media apps that emphasise video. The percentage of teenagers in the United States who reported using Facebook declined from 71% in a study conducted in 2015 to 32% in 2022.
