In order to get the web shield disabled the user should follow the given steps:
- The user should double click on the Webroot icon for opening the Webroot control center.
- Then from the top menu, the user should choose the option “components.”
- After that, the user should click on “Web shield.”
- From there the user can uncheck the “Enable web shield” option.
- After that, the user should choose the “web tab.”
- Then from the basic web settings should get the option of “web protection” unchecked.
- After that, the user should click “ok.”
Instead of disabling one component at a time, the user can also get all the components disabled altogether.
In order to disable all the components together the user should follow the given steps:
- In the system tray, the user should right-click on the Webroot icon.
- Then the user should click on “Temporary disable Webroot protection.”
- After that, the user will have to choose a time frame for which it is to be disabled.
- After that, the user should click “ok.”
