When you perform Linksys router reset, the settings will be reverted to the factory default settings. All the customized settings of the router, like Wi-Fi name, wireless security, etc., will be erased. To perform the Linksys router reset process, make sure that your router is turned on. Push and hold the reset button by using the paper clip. After this, hold the reset switch for 10 to 15 seconds. Now, disconnect and reconnect the Linksys router power adapter. After rebooting it, you can use the default username and password to connect to the device. Once you reset the Linksys router successfully, you can reconfigure the settings.
