Armodafinil is the active component in Artvigil 150. Armodafinil and Modafinil are chemically extremely similar, and they act in very similar ways. Armodafinil binds to the DAT proteins, which transport dopamine throughout the body, blocking reuptake and therefore increasing dopamine concentrations in the brain.
