The clock strikes 9pm-it's date time. You slip into a sparkly stiletto and meet your mate at a chic new club. You feel invigorated and powerful Air Force 1 as the bouncer lifts the velvet rope to let you inside. You spend the evening ordering endless champagne and desserts and laughing into the wee hours.


When Rihanna turns back to me in her third-floor installation in the store, yeah, she smells amazing, but she looks even better. She's wearing a short knit Fenty dress in burnt orange: the exact complement to the space's teal velvet walls. The color contrast only serves to amplify her silhouette-and the overwhelmingly radiant effect of her presence. On her feet are golden boots from her Air Force 1 High Top new Fenty drop, made in a crinkled leather with a stiletto heel.


There are products that are quick to rise to fame and then slowly burn out. Whether they cost too much, don't live up to the hype, or simply stop being necessary, their time comes and goes. Other times, products come out of nowhere and Nike Air Force 1 gain enough momentum to earn a huge following, like all these cheap products on Amazon that have suddenly become huge hits.


Fashion month is a test of endurance for editors. Tracking shows across four cities, we can rack up some serious mileage. And try as we might to leave enough time between shows, presentations, meetings, work meals, events, we will inevitably be sprinting at some point every day. It's like an Olympic sport, but with bad equipment. Case in point: those new heels you bought yourself as a holiday treat are NOT running shoes. And, let me tell you from experience, fashion week is no time for blisters.
