SMTP stands for Simple mail transfer protocol, and this setting is required to send the email to the client-server. If you have an account with Comcast and need to configure the Mail client such Outlook or Mozilla Thunderbird to send emails, then you will have to do the Comcast SMTP settings. Below we have provided the steps that you need to enter in Comcast's SMTP server configuration field.
• SMTP Mail server name – smtp.comcast.net
• Port number – 587
• Comcast SMTP Username – Your full email address
• Comcast SMTP Password – Your full Comcast Password
• Encryption – SSL or TLS ( Prefer TLS )
You can also take the help from Comcast email experts to complete the setup process.
