I am not sure why people using RL believe this is a good concept, and I don't mean from a business standpoint. I would suggest from the stand point that, if Jagex did"purchase" RL and make it the official customer, then you can bet your ass one of 2 things would occur. Either A. They would OSRS gold go through the entire plug-in list using a fine-toothed comb and eliminate a BUNCH of these (including some of you fav"QoL" plug-ins). Or B. They'd survey the yield of EVERY plug-in, and then you would STILL lose plug-ins to them failing in the polls. You're losing out. Maintaining RL unofficial is in your interest in the event you wish to maintain plug-ins that would likely be should Jagex took over, be removed.

You can check my remark history. I have talked with MANY different people during the last few months, and gotten VERY different answers regarding what plug-ins they want to see make their way to the official customer if RL were purchased. And yes, there ARE people who want the op shit, along with other borderline cheating plug-ins. There are people who need some of the things listed in the blog. I mean things like the Cerb prayer plug-in, not to mention from the wave. Just because YOU have what you consider to be expectations that are reasonable, doesn't mean others do.

Even though lots of people are trolling with answers here, I don't see why Jagex is not considering purchasing RL unless they wanted too much. For each OSRS update could be a drop in the bucket for them even as is now and pay one person to upgrade the customer. Plus it comes with reddit trolls being joyful. As a business minded person (CPA) I have been wondering this for quite a long time. Even if the business that owns Jagex is hoping to offer them off it's still a smart purchase for that Jagex that makes it more appealing for an investor. Does anyone know Jagex has tried and has been turned away if?

OSRS has existed a very long time as far as applications and games goes - it is an integral component of the experience of exactly what OSRS for people, and even though the client is dated and bad. For lots of customers, if they updated to a new client it would get rid of individuality and the feel of what's OSRS. Do not piss off your present customers. OSRS already has almost no curb appeal for anyone who has not played RS and I would be missing, when they removed what caused it to feel just like the OG. When a customer update was I'd be fucking lost and would not feel as inclined to learn that the system around again.

Additionally, a third party client buy-out would cheap RS gold result in an increase but also for also and security of its customers the business pride. Generally, purchasing a company since they made something better to the game than you did yourself is not likely to impress any investor about your inner development team and leadership team. Should they require a new client, why didn't leadership identify this and have you made earlier?
