Its at worst 50 silver to the pattern if more players play that is it'll be even cheaper. Secondly farming fast thistle is easy when you've got a nice herb path. Sure being resistant to crowd management for 10 seconds is nice but Its only useful in certain situations. Losing stats for cc immunity when you could use free action potion which is 30 minutes longer than sufficient time to do all kinds of situational tactics including retreating chasing down.You can pop potions like candies when you've enough of it.I get you man, I main Druid. OF COURSE I would like to be able to pump up enormous amounts of DPS in kitty shape and absolutely mess anyone I see in PvP and shirt the DPS meters. It'd be entertaining... for about a week or so (remembering the MoP incarn+vigil era, or the stun treants). But it hurts the class balance and longevity of WoW Classic
if every spec can do everything (and they'd have to be in a position to do this if you need balance rather than"rock paper scissors mushroom"), and it might grow stale very fast.The entire, entire core of WoW Classic would CHANGE. People weren't requesting WoW Remastered, they were requesting Vanilla WoW. Should you rebalance the courses (even with amounts only), you bring in a brand new meta. A totally different feel than what Vanilla needed, that is 100% certain. WoW Classic is a sort of a mythical game that people either did not play, either didn't play in a very long period (pservers aside). If you change the sense of WoW Classic like this, it just will not be the same game .
For now, let us buy WoW Classic first. Enable them to deliver it at the closest form to Vanilla as you can. Obviously WoW Classic will go stale after 2-3 years because there's no additional development, but that's exactly the time for such changes. THAT is going to be the time to decide whether to go on to TBC as a preservation project, or to create WoW Classic farther, down another route. A match with Vanilla WoW philosophy but new content and new metas. You're talking about eating the cake when you haven't even finished your soup.
I believe that the majority of people are gold in wow classic going to play WoW Classic till some point where they break of getting limited mana, becoming one shotted, wiping 300+ occasions, things getting stolen, each guild hoping to duplicate Leeroy Jenkins, too much grind, poor luck attack, bad fortune wipes (taunt miss for instance ), and many many many other shit that they never saw before will make them either quit WoW Classic or return to retailstores. That is my perspective.
