He was staring down into RS gold the eyes of the mask. I think I saw tears in his eyes. When I asked him what was wrong, he looked taken just like he'd forgotten I was there -- and muttered something about'the fate of our folks'. What an odd chap. It's good to see an archaeologist spent.
Dr Nabanik does know his stuff! Including some tidbits about Kharid-et he regaled us all with legends of this desert, after dinner. Like Senntisten, Kharid-et appears to have been an Zarosian stronghold. It was here that the Mahjarrat were rumoured to have gathered solid objects from all around the Kharidian Desert to use because of their (no doubt ambiguous ) plans. I wonder if any of these relics are here, just waiting for somebody to pick them up and find their magic? I get chills just considering it!
Dr Nabanik went quiet as he explained the final times of this fortress. Covered from the sands, its people and an whole fort were lost to time and all but forgotten. It's said that its truth is still sought by a few true believers, but because of their success no-one can say. That is when Nabanik made an early papyrus. It showed some sort of structure, not we'd uncovered. Could this be the treasure we're searching for?
The conversation then turned to our excavation plans, but I couldn't stop pondering. What really happened to the people inside the fortress? Can they escape, do they lie where they fell, or is there a possibility that something could be down there? What exactly was the figure on such papyrus? The idea of Mahjarrat zombies lurking down was providing me the shivers, so I made my excuses and retired to my tent to try to buy 2007 runescape gold get some rest. Brr... the desert wind is in fact quite frightening at nighttime.
