Stage 3a Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) is an early–moderate stage where kidney function is mildly to moderately reduced, with an estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) of 45–59 ml/min. At this stage, many people may not notice clear symptoms, though fatigue, mild swelling, or changes in urination can occur. Proper management includes controlling blood pressure and blood sugar, following a kidney-friendly diet, staying hydrated, and regular medical checkups to slow disease progression and protect long-term kidney health.
